Students continued filling in their moon phase calendar.  Tomorrow (March 26th) is the 3rd quarter moon).

As a review from yesterday, we watched 2 Brainpops about satellites and the International Space Station.

Then we went over the ch 16-17 test (retest will be Wednesday morning).

Finally, we started going over the chapter 19 Powerpoint notes.

  1. Hi Twila
Looks like you guys had a very busy week.
I will be looking for the third moon phase this evening.
I was taking my dog out one morning this week and saw the moon and thought of you.

  2. Hi Twila,
In reference to the comment on my blog...
They love to see their work on it but most don't take time to look at it. Some show their parents and I'm sure the parents who check blogs on a regular basis will see the work. I try to shoot a few photos and upload them after each assignment or kiln firing.

  3. Twila,
Your images are great. Are the students enjoying their calendar and project in general?

  4. I can't believe you teach moon phases. I teach it in second and I know it is taught in fourth also.
